What the official page offers

Checked on 29 September 2026, racheldrawsthis.itch.io/dead-plate lists two files in the download area: “Dead Plate” at 962 MB for Windows, and “DEAD PLATE MAC.zip” at about 1 GB for macOS. The buy button is name-your-own-price, so the desktop game can be downloaded at no charge. The authors line on that page is racheldrawsthis, Rix, and STUDIO INVESTIGRAVE. Development, story, and graphics are credited to RachelDrawsThis and Ekrix. BellKalengar is the composer and sound designer. The itch listing is the Windows and macOS release. The web port is the player on this site’s homepage.

The itch page was last updated 16 September 2026. It showed a score of 4.8 from 3,231 ratings that day. That number is itch’s. This site does not add its own rating. The page’s tags include 2D, horror, multiple endings, RPG Maker, story rich, and tycoon. Genres are role playing and visual novel.

Two ways to play

Play Dead Plate in your browser here (web port), or download the official Windows/macOS version on itch.io. The web port is the main player on the homepage. The itch button above is the studio’s desktop release, name-your-own-price for Windows and macOS. The endings guide and walkthrough describe the same game either way.

Steam, phones, and other storefronts

As of 29 September 2026, searching the Steam store for “dead plate” returned no results, and the itch information panel has no Steam link. Dead Plate is not a Steam release. Do not pay a third-party shop that claims otherwise.

The itch download is Windows and macOS. There is no official Android or iOS app. Pages and videos that offer a “Dead Plate APK” are not the studio’s desktop files. A phone can open the web port in a browser. That is the homepage player, not a store app.

Other games from the same creator page, including Cold Front, Elevator Hitch, Eloquent Countenance, Married in Red, Rot in Paradise, and Jackpot Crash Course Chapter 1, are also Windows and macOS downloads. They are not embedded on this site.

Translations on the official page

The itch page links translations maintained by their own teams: Spanish by Heroaureo, Brazilian Portuguese by Tea Party Project, Ukrainian by Team CatDoh, Korean by RachelDrawsThis, Japanese by わにゃおん, Russian by the Evil and Debil team, and Simplified Chinese by 青灯不弈. Download those from the links on the official page. This fan site does not mirror the patches.

How to tell a safe download from a random one

• The address should be racheldrawsthis.itch.io/dead-plate, on itch.io, not a lookalike domain.
• The files should be the Windows build and the macOS zip described above. Sizes on 29 September 2026 were 962 MB and about 1 GB.
• You can set the price to zero. Anyone who says you must pay a third party first is not the official checkout.
• Deadplate.app, deadplate.cc, and this site are fan pages. They are not the developer’s download counter.
• Comments on the itch page can spoil the story. The developer warns about that on the listing.
