More Spica story games

Post Memory is Spica’s short RPG Maker horror game about a postman in a remote town. You can dig into what is under the surface, or you can leave it alone. The itch page says that choice is yours, that a run is about 30 minutes to an hour, and that there are 4 endings.

A postman, and a choice about how deep to go

The itch sentence is the whole premise. You are a postman in a remote town. You can slowly uncover the secrets under the surface, or you can choose not to. The page says a guide will be up soon and that another route will be added in the future. Under the features: about 30 minutes to 1 hour, 4 endings, cartoon blood and violence, and heavy themes relating to religion and death. A 3 October note on the page says the browser version and a patched Windows version are up.

Genre: visual novel. Made with RPG Maker. Tags: horror, pixel art, RPG Maker. Author: Spica. Status: Released. Platforms: HTML5 and Windows. On 29 September 2026 the score was 4.8 from 234 ratings. The panel did not show an update timestamp. The browser-version devlog is dated 3 October 2024. The creator says the project started as a one-month game jam and that they overscoped it. Price is name your own price.

The file in the frame is html-classic.itch.zone/html/11632636/PostMemoryWeb/index.html at 816 by 624. It is the inline browser upload. If the web build misbehaves, the creator’s own note is the next step: some drivers do not get along with the MZ web version, and the Windows zip on the same page is the better copy in that case.

What actually changes the ending

The 3 October 2024 devlog is the closest thing to a route note, and it is about cuts, not a checklist. Spica writes that more routes were planned, including Michel’s and Monday’s, but Cain is the most important one for the plot, so the release focused on him. Currently, only your relationship with Cain really matters for the ending. An entire character, the doctor, was cut. So were extra locations, a time and date system, two filler days, and more CGs, especially in the ending sequence. The creator says those might return in a patch if people want them, and that they were going to rest first.

That is why this page will not publish four labeled recipes. The feature list says 4 endings. The devlog says the branch that matters is your relationship with Cain, and that Michel and Monday’s routes were cut to make the jam deadline. No later official walkthrough turned up in the materials. The “guide will be up soon” line on the game page is still a promise, not a link we could follow to steps. Search pages ask for endings and a wiki. The sourced answer is the Cain relationship, not a puzzle password.

The same devlog mentions a dice system the creator likes for flavor and worries may have made routes more random. It does not explain the dice rules. It also says RPG Maker MZ had more plugin support than they expected compared with MV. Those are development notes. They are not instructions for a lock.

The October 2024 browser patch

When the browser version went up, Spica listed practical fixes for both the browser and Windows builds: more environmental interactions, picklocks that are easier to find, tidied art, and a lot of bug fixes. They apologized for a rough release, said they posted it at 6am and then slept, and said the month had less work time than they wanted. If you are stuck looking for a picklock, the patch note is the sourced tip: they were made easier to find after that update. The devlog does not say where the new spot is.

Credits: a game by Spica, with guest art from Song. Pixel resources are Limezu, Kohari, and Vryell. RPG Maker MZ plugins credited are Visustella, GALV, Caz, Nolonar, Winthrop Darkrites, and Takeshi Sunagawa. Music is Dova-Syndrome and Peritune. The creator says they were happy with the sprites and with putting those sprites up and center, and that later games might keep that framing.

How to play it without a fake guide

Deliver mail, talk to people, and decide how far the secrets are worth pushing. The page’s own verb is “or don’t.” If you want more than one ending, the devlog’s lever is the relationship with Cain, not a hidden code. Save when the game lets you, because the dice note suggests some variation, and because the ending count is 4 with only one relationship called important. That save advice is ordinary caution. The Cain line is the part the creator actually wrote.

Content warnings are cartoon blood and violence, plus heavy themes of religion and death. They are not decorative tags. Post Memory shares Spica with Silver Thread, Symbiosis, and Homekeeping. It does not share Alicia’s cases or Rutile’s maid route. Homekeeping is the Spica game with a published password. This one is the game whose password-shaped searches do not match a published code.
