More Spica story games

Homekeeping is Spica’s short RPG Maker horror story about Rutile, who finally gets the maid job she wanted and then has to work for an odd mistress. The itch page says it runs about 30 minutes to an hour and has 3 endings. The creator’s game guide publishes the safe code.

Rutile’s job

The itch blurb is one job interview and one doubt. Rutile finally scores her dream job: being a maid. The mistress she has to work for is odd, and the question is whether the work will be as smooth as she imagined. The creator adds a direct note about the cast: Gabriel and Calcite use he/him, they are butches, and this is a yuri game. Features under that: about 30 minutes to 1 hour, 3 endings, and a depiction of blood and violence.

Genre: visual novel. Made with RPG Maker. Tags: horror, pixel art, RPG Maker. Author: Spica. Status: Released. The panel’s platform line says HTML5. The download area also includes a Windows zip, so the practical choices are the browser file and a Windows build. On 29 September 2026 the score was 4.7 from 236 ratings. The page did not show an update timestamp. The earliest devlog in the pack is the game guide, 21 April 2025 in the guide header we saved, though the devlog index date in the materials is 23 April 2025 UTC for the earliest post. Price is name your own price. The page says no generative AI was used.

The browser path is specific: html-classic.itch.zone/html/15999298/web/Gamejam/index.html, 816 by 624. The “Gamejam” folder and a download named HomekeepingGamejamver.zip sit beside Homekeeping_Windows.zip. On 31 December 2025 Spica posted that the full version was done, that Calcite is back after being cut for time, and that the ending was reworked with one whole new ending so each ending corresponds to a different character. The post says the game guide was updated for those endings. It does not say the browser folder was replaced. Treat the frame as the itch HTML5 file, and do not assume from the path alone that it includes every 31 December change. The Windows zip is the other official file if the browser build feels like the older jam version.

The safe code, and the three hints

The creator’s game guide gives the safe password up front, then the hints, because people were missing it. In winter there are three pointers. Alle says her appetite is low in winter because it is not a good season for her. There is a snow globe with a Christmas tree that Rutile thinks looks out of place. Alle’s diary implies her mother died the day after a “joyous occasion.” The code is 2612, the day after Christmas. The creator notes that the order is day then month, DD/MM, not month then day, and that the MM/DD habit threw people off.

Season order from the official guide

Spring: clean the three spots in the living room, go to the kitchen and check the cupboard, do the cooking minigame, clean the dust in the corner of the library, then sleep in your bedroom. Summer: check the cupboard, check the door, do the cooking minigame, return to the kitchen cupboard to make lemonade, then go to the second floor and give the lemonade to Alle in her studio.

Fall: clean two spots in Alle’s bedroom, go downstairs, check the door, and talk to Calcite. Clean the living room. For Alle’s ending, talk to Alle in the studio before you sleep. Then sleep. The December 2025 post says Calcite visits in fall in the full version, which matches this step. Winter: do the cooking minigame, find Alle in her studio, clean the library, check the living-room table you cleaned in fall (the one with the receipt for green paint), read Alle’s diary in the library, open the safe in Alle’s bedroom with 2612, and go to the abandoned bedroom.

Which sentence picks the ending

The updated guide states three character endings. Gabriel’s ending: tell Alle you are scared of her, and keep choosing yes until the end. Calcite’s ending: tell Alle you are scared of her, then stop halfway. Alle’s ending: tell Alle you are not scared of her. The fall studio visit is also marked as necessary for Alle’s ending. The itch feature list says 3 endings, and the full-version post says the new structure gives each ending to a different character. The guide does not describe a fourth ending.

Credits on the itch page: a game by Spica, with help from may.r.yu on backgrounds, Crow (Gabriel’s creator) on writing, and Rozen (Calcite’s creator) on writing. Pixel assets are Limezu, Kohari, and Vryell. RPG Maker MZ plugins credited include Visustella, GALV, Caz, Nolonar, Winthrop Darkrites, Takeshi Sunagawa, Rosedale, SumRndmDde, AngryMaximus, and Synrec. Music assets are BellKalengar, who also composed Dead Plate. That is a shared composer credit, not a shared studio. The full-version post thanks Crow and Rozen by name for making the update possible.

Homekeeping FAQ

What is the Homekeeping safe code?

2612. The creator’s guide says it is the day after Christmas, written day then month, and that the winter hints are Alle’s low appetite, the Christmas-tree snow globe, and a diary line about a death the day after a joyous occasion.

How do I get each ending?

The game guide says: tell Alle you are scared of her and keep choosing yes for Gabriel; tell her you are scared and stop halfway for Calcite; tell her you are not scared for Alle. Alle’s route also wants the fall studio conversation before sleep.

How long is it, and how many endings?

The itch page says about 30 minutes to 1 hour and 3 endings. The 31 December 2025 post says the full version added one new ending so that each ending matches a different character, and that the guide was updated to those three.

Is the browser game the full version?

The HTML5 path is web/Gamejam/index.html, and the downloads include both a game-jam zip and a Windows zip. The full-version post does not say the browser folder was updated. Use the Windows file if you specifically want the build the creator called the full version.

What are the content notes?

The page warns about a depiction of blood and violence. The creator also states that the game is yuri, and that Gabriel and Calcite are he/him butches.

Does it play on a phone?

The itch page does not list touch or a mobile store build. The controls it prints are keyboard keys, and the platform line highlighted on the panel is HTML5, with a Windows zip also available.
